Stag Beetle

The Stag Beetle (Lucanus cervus) is one of our bigger species of beetle in the UK and are known more colloquially as horse pinchers, thunder beetles or oak ox. They are a rare species and classified as protected which protects them from being on sale in the UK. This print forms part of the 'Eight Rarest Insects in Britain' Collection.
